• Anderson Sports and Entertainment Center
  

  Located just minutes from Interstate highway 85, about halfway between Charlotte and Atlanta, you will find the Anderson Sports & Entertainment Center, with a wide variety of sports and recreational opportunities. Many miles of paved, lighted walking trails wind their way around the complex. The Chris Taylor Memorial Park, located inside this complex, has a duck pond, walking track, and exercise stations. You will also find the Civic Center of Anderson and the William A. Floyd Amphitheater here. This center is home to a large portion of the Palmetto Junior Nationals tennis tournament each year.

• Sadlers Creek State Recreation Area
  

  You will find some excellent lakeside hiking trails, picnic areas, and campsites in this state park. A large picnic pavillion overlooking Lake Hartwell can be rented out for group functions.
