- Barnwell State Park
Barnwell State Park's nature trail takes you on an interesting trip around the pond with a variety of scenery. Several picnic areas overlook the pond also.
- Ditch Pond Heritage Preserve
This preserve contains several interesting hiking trails, an undisturbed Carolina Bay, and a number of rare plant species.
- Fuller Park
FULLER PARK IS TEMPORARILY CLOSED BECAUSE OF CONSTRUCTION IN THE AREA.
- God's Acre Healing Springs
This land officially belongs to God. People come here from all over to take water from these artesian wells, which is said to have mystical healing powers.
- Lake Edgar Brown
Lake Edgar Brown, in the city of Barnwell, has two wooden fishing piers and plenty of public access. Several walking paths wind their way around the waterways.
- Region 3 Discovery Center
The H. Flowe Trexler Region 3 Discovery Center has a number of interesting things for the tourist passing thru the area, including a visitors′ center with a gift shop and a coffee shop. This building also features a railroad-oriented museum with historical data and artifacts from Aiken, Bamberg, Barnwell, and Orangeburg Counties. Next door is the Agricultural Heritage Museum, which tells the story of farm life in this rural community throughout the centuries.
- South Edisto River Access at SC #39
This is an access area for small boats onto the South Fork Edisto River.
- Williston Rail-Trail
The town of Williston has a paved trail running through the business district, where the railroad tracks once lay. Walking and bicycling are permitted, but skateboarding and roller-skating are not.
