With convenient access directly off of US #17, you can park and take a 5-minute stroll out across some incredibly scenic pathways to find yourself at a wide observation deck extending into the waterway.

This park pays tribute to the men and women of the Air Force who lived in Myrtle Beach for almost 40 years (1954-1993) while serving their country. Included are several military aircraft on display, plus a viewing area for the runway which now serves as a civilian airport.
