East Coast Greenway Handbook for South Carolina
http://www.greenway.org/
The East Coast Greenway is an ambitious project to build a 2600 mile long paved trail for non-motorized transportation along the east coast of the United States. Altho it presently has many gaps, there are quite a few sections of trail already open along the route from Key West to the Canadian border. A portion of the greenway passes thru South Carolina's low country, and several sections are open, mostly in resort and tourist-oriented areas. Parts of the greenway are paved, and are open for walking, bicycling, and roller skating. Other parts are unpaved.
