Located just minutes from Interstate highway 85, about halfway between Charlotte and Atlanta, you will find the Anderson Sports & Entertainment Center, with a wide variety of sports and recreational opportunities. Many miles of paved, lighted walking trails wind their way around the complex. The Chris Taylor Memorial Park, located inside this complex, has a duck pond, a walking track, and exercise stations. You will also find the Civic Center of Anderson and the William A. Floyd Amphitheater here. This center is home to a large portion of the Palmetto Junior Nationals tennis tournament each year.

- The Anderson Sports & Entertainment Center hosts many special events. If you are interested in reserving space at the Civic Center of Anderson for a business meeting, trade show, party, convention, banquet, reception or some other special event, you can call the office at 864-260-4800. Promoters interested in leasing the William A. Floyd Amphitheater for concerts should contact the office at 864-260-4800. The William A. Floyd Amphitheater can accommodate outdoor concerts for up to 13,000 fans. Athletic tournament organizations interested in leasing a portion of the Anderson Sports Center for softball, baseball, soccer, tennis, or other outdoor activity should contact the office at 864-260-5121.
