Photo tour
The Francis Beidler Forest in the Four Holes Swamp contains the largest remaining stand of virgin, old-growth bald cypress and tupelo gum trees in the world. A portion of this swamp is visible from the boardwalk, which is 13/4 miles long. There is also a museum and gift shop near the entrance. Bugs can be a serious nuisance at certain times of the year.
