This remote location is one of the few public access areas on the Parr Reservoir. In addition to the small boat ramp, two picnic shelters overlook the lake. A small building here contains restrooms with non-flushing toilets. There is also a manually-operated water pump. The nearby bridge over the reservoir is a popular fishing spot. Note that some of the signs along the highway read “Cannons Creek Ramp”.
