Come out to Wadmalaw Island in South Carolina′s low country to visit the only tea plantation in the United States. View the vast fields of tea bushes and watch the machinery which processes the leaves. See the gift shop to purchase locally made tea and other items. This plantation, also known as the “Charleston Tea Gardens”, is a wonderful place to get away for an afternoon.
