This park offers two swimming areas and lakeside picnic tables with some good views of Lake Thurmond. There are plenty of trees here also.

How to get there

The entrance is on US #221 west of Clarks Hill, SC.

Take I-20 to exit #199 in Georgia. Go west on Georgia #104 (Washington Road) 1.5 kilometers (about one mile) and turn right onto Georgia #28 (Furys Ferry Road). Go north 11.3 km. (7 miles) to the Savannah River. Continue north on SC #28 11.5 km. (7 miles) into Clarks Hill, SC. Turn left onto US #221 and go west 0.9 km. (0.6 mi.). The park entrance will be on the right.
