This state park is a popular stop-over for interstate travelers. Campers, fishermen, and canoeists enjoy the peaceful and relaxing waters of the Edisto River, with its diversity of wildlife. Colleton State Park is on a portion of the river that has been designated as an official canoe and kayak trail.

How to get there
|
Take I-95 to exit #68 and go southeast on SC #61 for 4.5 kilometers (2.8 miles) towards Canadys. Turn left onto US #15 (Jeffries Highway) and go northeast 0.6 km. (0.4 mi.). The park entrance (Wayside Land) will be on the left.
