Diversion Canal and Santee Cooper Aquaculture Center

The Palmetto Trail runs along the northeast side of the Diversion Canal between Lake Marion and Lake Moultrie. Along the way you will find the Aquaculture Center and the Cross Generating Station.

How to get there
|
Located off SC #45 near Eadytown, SC.
Take I-95 to exit #98 and go southeast on SC #6 33.9 kilometers. Turn left onto SC #45 and go northeast 6.3 km. and look for the sign to the “Cross Generating Station”. Turn right onto Viper Road (#708). Just before you reach the railroad track, turn right and follow this road to the parking area.
