Take I-26 to exit #85, which is “SC #202 – Little Mountain”. Go south on SC #202 for 2.9 kilometers. Turn right and go west on US #76 for 0.9 km. Turn left onto Wheeland Road (#20) and go south 9.6 km. Turn left onto Macedonia Church Road (#26) and go southeast 2.0 km. Turn left onto Dreher Island Road (#15) and go east 0.9 km. Turn right onto State Park Road (#571), and follow this road to Dreher Island. Thanks to Steve Warner for providing corrections to these directions.

Take I-26 to exit #91, then go south on SC #48 into Chapin. You will be on Columbia Road; follow this for 2 miles. You will round a sharp left curve, cross a railroad track, and come to a stoplight at US #76. Turn right and follow US #76 for 3.7 miles, then turn left on St. Peters Church Road (you will see the sign for St. Peters Church). Go 2.9 miles on St. Peters Church Rd., then turn left onto Dreher Island Road. Follow this road for 3.2 miles. Turn left onto State Park Road (#571), and follow this road to Dreher Island.
