Finlay Park is a really great city park in Columbia. In the past, it has been known as “Sidney Park” and “Seaboard Park”. It includes a man-made pond and waterfall, walking paths, two excellent playgrounds, porch swings, and two stages.
On the north side of Laurel Street is the historic Arsenal Building, now the home of the Associated Model Railroads of Columbia.
Many outdoor concerts and community events are held here. Call the city recreation department at 803-733-8331 for more information.
