This shady, well maintained town park has several picnic tables, ponds, gardens, a nice playground, a stage, and places to walk. Streams flow thru the park and several asphalt walkways wind their way around them. There is even a special playground for handicapped children.

Take I-20 to exit #55 and go north on SC #6 (South Lake Drive) 2.6 kilometers (1.6 miles) into downtown Lexington. Hylton Park will be on the left, at the intersection of South Lake Drive and Maiden Lane, behind the Lexington Municipal Complex buiding.
