This 643-acre park has a wide variety of activities and facilities to offer. Features include a tidal creek fishing area, paved trails, bicycle rental, pedal boats, kayak rentals, playgrounds, a spray/play fountain area, picnic areas, volleyball courts, horseshoe pits, and the Splash Zone waterpark.

How to get there
|
Take I-26 to exit #212 and go west on I-526 (Mark Clark Expressway) 11.2 kilometers. Exit onto US #17 North and go east on the Savannah Highway 5.6 km. Turn right onto Folly Road (SC #171) and go south 1.9 km. Turn right and go west on SC #700 (Maybank Highway) 2.4 km., then turn left onto Riverland Drive. The entrance to James Island County Park will be on the right.
