Photo tour

When the Santee Canal opened in 1800 to connect the Santee and Cooper rivers, it was America's first summit canal. Today, you will find an 11,000 square foot Interpretive Center, four miles of boardwalks and trails, and the Berkeley Museum. You can also rent canoes here to paddle along the old waterways.
