You will find some excellent lakeside hiking trails, picnic areas, and campsites in this state park. A large picnic pavillion overlooking Lake Hartwell can be rented out for group functions.
The park also offers easy access to the Savannah River National Scenic Highway.

How to get there
|
Take I-85 to exit #11 and go east on SC #24 for 8.5 kilometers (5.3 miles), then turn right and go south on SC #187 for 11.6 km. (7.2 mi.). Turn right onto road #741, which leads into the state park.
