This is the main information center for both the Francis Marion National Forest and the Cape Romain National Wildlife Refuge. Jointly operated by the US Forestry Service and the US Fish & Wildlife Service, it is an excellent place to begin your explorations of these wilderness areas. Many brochures and maps are available here.
Behind the building are several interesting boardwalks and hiking trails.
