For many years, the area around Shem Creek in Mount Pleasant has been known for its seafood restaurants with some great views of the creek. Now you can also find a series of boardwalks with some wonderful views of the creek and the surrounding marshland. Come out to Shem Creek Park and spend some time on its long boardwalks and short trails. While getting exercise, you will also see the historic creek and a variety of boats. This is a popular place for fishing as well.
