The Springfield Trail is a little over two miles long. It borders Sugar Creek on the eastern side of the Springfield development. A suspension bridge near the southern end provides a crossing over a large drain, and is built on grade to accommodate bikers as well as hikers. A variety of wildlife species can be seen along the trail.
