Table Rock is one of the most popular places to visit in the upstate region of South Carolina, particularly in the fall. Quite a few hiking trails run through the park, including a long, challenging trail leading to a spectacular overlook. Two lakes and several mountain streams also add to the scenery.

Facility Rental

• The lodge is a carefully restored facility with a great view of Table Rock Mountain, a large upstairs lodge room with furniture and fireplaces and a 76-seat dining room and kitchen on the lower level. The entire building or the lower level can be rented for meetings, weddings, and other gatherings. Contact the park at 864-878-9813 for prices and reservations.

  Pinnacle Pavilion is a multi-purpose recreation center ideal for large gatherings. This gymnasium-style facility has pull-out bleachers and a stage. It can seat up to 175 people banquet style or accommodate up to 500 for recreational purposes. To make a reservation, call 1-866-345-PARK.

  Picnic shelters may be rented for $25.00-$38.00 per day. Call 1-866-345-PARK to make a reservation.

How to Get There

• Take I-385 to exit #40A and go north on SC #291 (North Pleasantburg Drive) for 2.3 kilometers (1.5 miles). Turn left onto SC #291 (North Pleasantburg Drive) and go northwest for 4.9 km. (3 miles). Turn right onto US #276 (Poinsett Highway) and go north for 18.3 km. (11 miles). Turn left onto SC #288 (Pumpkintown Road) and go west 14.2 km. (9 miles) into Pumpkintown. From there, turn right onto SC #8 (Pumpkintown Highway) and go northeast 6.0 km. (4 miles). Turn left and go west for 7.4 km. (3 miles) on SC #11. The park will be on both sides of the road. The park's headquarters building is on Ellison Lane.
